*** REVIEW ** The Orgasm Project by Doris O'Connor

The Orgasm Project by Doris O'Connor

What's a girl to do when her best friend confides her inability to orgasm? Set up the Orgasm Project of course, and Maria knows just the guys to do it. Her hot as Hades brothers might be full of themselves, but at least they're safe. What can possibly go wrong?

Anastasia wants the ground to swallow her whole when she meets the twins. How embarrassing can this be, even if the gorgeous hunks set her knickers aflame with just one look?

Jake and Carter know their mate when they see her, and nothing is going to stop these cougar shifters from claiming her. Their night of passion leads to discoveries neither one of them is prepared for.

Has their bite awakened a monster or their destiny?

I received a copy of this book from the author in return for an honest review.

Oh boy was I excited when this turned up in my inbox :D

Now, of all the books I've read so far, no one can write shifters like Ms O'Connor can! I love her shifter stories, and this one was just as good as the rest! I freakin loved it, and those boys...well... they're a damn hot couple of guys ;)

I loved the fact that Maria set her friend up with her 2 hot brothers, but what made it special was the fact that Ana couldn't enjoy sex with anyone until these 2 came along. You'll find out why when you read it, I'm not going to spoil it for you!

Ana was a great character. I liked the way she trusted her instincts with Carter and Jake, even though part of her kept asking 'what are you doing with these 2 guys you don't know!'. It all worked out though didn't it :D

I liked Maria, she had sass, and I'd like to read more about her, maybe Doris will carry on the series? I hope so!

Now, onto these 2 hunks of gorgeousness. Jake and Carter, well what can I say about these 2? They are damn fine... and sexy... and wild... and wow I'm getting flustered thinking about them! Lucky Doris having these guys in her head all day ;)

I loved this story, and would definitely recommend to everyone!

Book image courtesy of http://sweetclipart.com/
Sun 30th June - Sat 6th July

Hi folks :D

Well this week I haven't read much at all (again!), but I did read and review His Guardian Withc by Angelina Rain. Check out my review here:

I've started reading Serviced Anthology, and have recieved a copy of The Orgasm Project from Ms O'Connor which I am hoping to get to real soon ;)

TV/Movies this week has been more of Sons of Anarchy with the OH. I watched a couple of movies, Life as We Know It (with the ever gorgeous Josh Duhamel! *swoon*), and Friends with Kids, which was alright.

I posted a few blog posts this week, My A-Z reading challenge, Help on doing a blog button, and +Faberge Nostromo  was in the hotseat this week for 20 Qs!

I also went to Glasgow on Wednesday for the Bon Jovi concert, I'll be posting about that soon when I get some of the pictures back form Darren!

Happy Sunday peeps, enjoy the sunshine :D

20 This or That questions with.... Faberge Nostromo!!!!

Happy Thursday folks :D Today Faberge Nostromo is here with me!

Pull up a chair Fab and grab a drink!

Food
Sweet or savoury?
Oh, very savoury! Maybe the odd sweet pastry with morning coffee, but savoury every time other than that. I adore Gentlemen's Relish! I've never heard of it *off to google Gentlemans Relish!*

Salad or sandwich?
I know I shouldn't but whenever there's a choice I go for the sandwich… usually a BLT.

Macdonalds or Burger King?
If I have to and there's a choice then Burger King, but ideally neither. I will admit that there have been times when the only cure for a hangover is a big mac and fries. My next door neighbour swears by that hangover cure ;p

White meat or red meat?
Give me red meat! Rawwwwwrrrrr…. I love a rare steak. I ordered a steak in a Paris restaurant once and asked for it rare. Let me tell you – the French idea of 'rare' is not far from waving it over a candle for a few minutes. Now I love me a rare-ish steak, but I couldn't eat it the 'french way'!

Entertainment
Bon Jovi or Guns n Roses?
That's a tough one. Bon Jovi have got some cracking stuff – Livin' On A Prayer – but there are some guitar parts from Slash that are gobsmacking. I think if I had to choose it'd be Guns n Roses. Slash is amazing, I totally agree with you on that one!

Movie or book?
Book!

Movies or TV shows?
I love slumping at home in front of the telly but a movie at the cinema is where it's at really.

Harry Potter or Lord of the Rings?
Can I be outrageous and say that I gave up on Harry Potter at Goblet of Fire? LOTR is way, way better. Tolkien's imagination, the language, the sheer gobsmacking breadth of it all is… well, gobsmacking. Well I so far have only read the first 2 HP books, and not even started on LOTR yet!!!

Damon or Stefan Salvatore?
Damon – Stefan is so wet! And don’t get me started on Elena…  You don't relise how much I'm laughing her!! I agree with you completely!!!!

True Blood or Vampire Diaries?
True Blood is in a totally different league to Vampire Diaries - even if it's just for the theme song. The theme song totally rocks doesn't it!

Friends or Sex and the City?
Friends. I loved it from day one. Sex and the City I just do not understand. However, by the end Ross and Rachel were getting right on my nerves. NO! You have to always root for those 2!!!

Star Wars or Star Trek?
I am a total Trekkie! *hums Star Trek theme*

Random
Dominance or submission?
I like to mix it up and play with both.

Kisses or hugs?
Hugs – you can hug almost anyone anywhere anytime. And you should.

Bath or shower?
I'm an everyday shower type of bloke but I do love to soak in a candle lit bath when I get a chance. I hate baths!

Call or text?
Text – or these days WhatsApp. I'm a writer not a talker.

Date night: stay in or go out?
At my age it's staying in with wine and a lovely meal. Sounds nice and cosy :)

Singing or dancing?
Can't really do either but I have been known to give singing a go – accompanying myself on a ukulele usually. In fact too often. At the drop of a hat. Even if there isn't a hat to be had anywhere. Haha! Sounds like something that needs to be on youtube?

Vanilla or kink?
Let's get kinky! Ooh!

Cotton or satin?
Cotton. Love wearing it and sleeping in it.

Anything you'd like to add, or anything new you'd like to tell us about while you're here?

I'm really excited about the book I'm working on right now – it's sci-fi and I've got a green skinned girl, a mysterious empathic alien and a story with a twist I hope no-one will see coming! Sounds great Faberge, Can't wait to see the end result!

Thank you so much for stopping by Faberge! I had so much fun!!

Need help on how to do a blog button?

Hi everyone!

I've been asked twice now about blog buttons, so thought I'd do a post about how to do one for anyone who needs help :D

You can see I have 3 buttons, one for my blog followers on the right, another on the right for my A-Z reading challenge, and another for my blogoversary on the left.

Here we go:

  • Make your button. For this I use Photoshop and open up a new file size 200x200 pixels. Once you have made your button, save it as a JPEG.

  • Log into Google and go to Photos. upload your photo to your google pictures.

  • Open up blogger, and go to layout. There select 'add a gadget', and find the HTML one.

Copy this grab code and paste it into the gadget:
<div class="love-Books?-blog-Books!-button" style="width: 150px; margin: 0 auto;"> <a href="http://www.lovebooksblogbooks.blogspot.co.uk" rel="nofollow"> <img src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhZpwUWuvN8UmOC3FjU9D8-iSHBJ4kYYg3Z98QZfBlCG8G7nkOipSrkNwyC-dZ-_QEyyh0qqvImvLk0YUbgIFRmcOMOyj2eF4W8p4d2Vka_0-UDYEZ0ix7mD_tiU6z1ReP44WLthUfggS2M/s200-no/8.jpg" alt="Love Books? Blog Books!" width="200" height="200" /> </a> </div>

  • The parts I've bolded need changing. The first one is your blog name (if it's more than one word, use hyphens as I have in between the words like I have). The second one is the width of your image (mine was 150). The third is your blog address. The fourth is your image address (you will find this by right clicking on your image and selecting 'copy image location'. The fifth is you Blog name (no need for hyphens in this part unless you have one in your blogs name).

  • Save your HTML gadget and save the changes to your blog. Open up your blog in a separate tab to make sure it works. There should be a code box with the grab code in it, so others can now grab your code and post your button!

  • To make sure it works, copy your code, and paste it into another HTML gadget and save. If you want you can keep this above the 'grab code' box so people know what your button looks like! Or you can delete it,a dn open up an image gadget, uploading your picture there with the link to your blog in the link box, then position it above your 'grab code box'.

Easy enough? Hopefully!

If you have any problems after following my tutorial on Blog button making, just holler my way at lovebooksblogbooks@gmail.com and I'll give you a hand! Also, let me know in the comments box below if this works for you! :D

***REVIEW***~ His Guardian Witch by Angelina Rain

His Guardian Witch by Angelina Rain

Is love stronger than magic?
Morgan has never encountered a spell she couldn’t cast or a curse she couldn’t break. With her natural knack for witchcraft, she runs a magic store that helps others. When a handsome but cursed man walks into her store, she is pit against magic stronger than her own.
Daniel lived an ordinary life before he ended up on a witch’s bad side and was jinxed with non-stop bad luck. Out of sheer desperation he visits Morgan’s Magic Shop. Morgan agrees to help him and they must work together to find the witch and pinpoint the hex she used in order to undo it. As they search, feelings ignite and a romance blossoms. Will this bad luck spell end their love, or will their love be strong enough to break the incantation?

I received a copy of this book from the author in exchange for an honest review.

This didn't take me long to read, that's the beauty of Evernight Publishings Romance on the Go line. If you need your fix, these books are the ideal size!

I really enjoyed this one, and would love to see the story carry on a bit more.

This is the story of Daniel, who has had a curse put on him by a student who is in love with him. He goes into Morgans magic shop one day in the hope she can help him with this curse, seeing as her shop sells witchcraft things. She hands him a candle and tells him to burn it whenever he can as it will send good vibes to the person who cursed him, which in turn may make the bad things stop. Unfortunately... it doesn't work! It doesn't help that the girl who placed the curse is now in a coma in hospital!

The story gets good, lots of magic goings on, and great sex! But a sad ending I thought, even though it does kind of work out alright. You'll understand what I mean when you read it.

Great story by Angelina! Can't wait for more of her stuff!

Wekly Recall! 23rd June-29th June!

Book image courtesy of http://sweetclipart.com/
Sun 23rd June - Sat 29th June

I haven't read much this week I'm afraid, been rather busy with school meetings etc. But here's what I did read:

I reviewed Breaking Bethany by Anna Keraleigh. You can find my review here.

I read the much awaited anthology Her Type of Guy by +Doris O'connor +Raven McAllan +Michaela Rhua Ella Grey and Morgan King. You can find my review here.

As for TV/Movies this week, me and the OH have caught up on The Killing season3 now, and are waiting for the new episode this week (Netflix are streaming it the day after its been aired). So we started watching Sons of Anarchy, and although we've only watched 2 episodes so far, it's rather good. And Charlie Hunnam is quite hot in it too! He looks pretty darn good in that biker Jacket.

I finished watching season 2 of Call The Midwife, and I'm eagerly awaiting the Christmas Special later this year. And I eventually watched The Hunger Games yesterday! I gave it 3 stars, but the book was is much better.

Also this week I had Laurel Cremant guesting, Michaela Rhua showing off her new release, and Thianna D was answering my 20 This or That Questions.

Thats all for this week folks, ta-ta for now :D
