Truth or Dare? Come check out Elizabeth Morgan's latest release!

Truth or Dare?
Blurb:
Do you dare tell the truth?
A tequila fuelled game of Truth or Dare is not Dani’s idea of fun, but when Cameron, the jerk who rejected her a year ago is the one provoking her into playing, how can she say no? Not that he’s giving her the option in the first place.

Bravado compels her forward, but when the dares get physical and their friends leave them alone, Cameron’s questions turn to her feelings for him, and unfortunately, lying is not part of the game.
Will a dare give Dani the courage she needs to tell Cameron the truth?
Excerpt:
Fine, I will take a dare.” I glanced at Ben. “What do you want me to do?”
A wicked grin spread across his lips. It was almost as sexy as his brother’s. “I want you to lick salt off Cameron, and then take the lime from his mouth.”
He had to be fucking kidding. “What?”
You heard the man.” The amusement ran clear in Cameron’s voice.
An idiotic bout of nerves skipped through me. “And do I dare ask where I will be drinking the tequila from?”
Ben’s gaze flicked to Cameron, who I couldn’t bring myself to look at. Holding up my hand, I cut Ben off before he suggested anything else.
Never mind. I’ll do it.” Untangling my legs, I slid off the sofa, levelling a look at Cameron.
He pulled his T-shirt over his head, and my mouth dried at the way his six-pack rippled with each movement. He was solid, perfect. His skin was a healthy bronze. A fine dusting of dark hair ran from his navel and crept down into his jeans. I couldn’t help but follow the teasing path with my gaze….
See something you like?”
Did I ever. I hated to admit it, but he was the kind of guy you just wanted to lick—well, anything off of.
Nope. I’m just wondering why removing your top is necessary. Scared I’m going to spill my drink on your T-shirt?”
His lips turned upward. “Man told you to lick salt off me, but he didn’t say where you would be licking the salt from.”

Excerpt:
Prologue

They were two beautiful people. Both strong and healthy, exactly what she was looking for.
The male was at least six foot, slender, but his body was firm. His light brown hair was slicked back, making his jaw-line and chiseled cheekbones more defined. His eyes were firmly fixed on his partner as they attempted the triple spin.
The female—such a petite thing with snow-white skin and a dazzling set of white teeth. Her blue eyes shone as she gazed up at him from a slanted dip. Her golden hair was tied up with stray curls hanging around her face.
Such a beautiful couple. They will do perfectly. She waited for the show to end.

*****

Gabriella stood in front of the dressing room door. The small copper star resting against the worn wood had lost its gleam; the scratched metal had seen better days. She moved her attention to the two sheets of paper pinned below it, one reading: Robert Burton; the other: Nina Hewson. The dancing couple from Arizona. A couple whose lives were about to change.
She knocked sharply upon the door, which opened immediately, bringing her eye to eye with the polite, green-blue gaze of Robert.
May I help you?”
You may indeed.” She walked past him into the small room.
The dressing room, like the rest of the broken-down theater, wasn’t anything special. The general necessities were there; a mirror, vanity table, railing for costumes, and two chairs that looked like they had been stolen from a high school classroom. And from what she could guess, the hideous, moth-eaten red fabric hanging from the wall toward the end of the small space was the door to the restroom. The faded floral wallpaper peeled in many places, and the room stank of sweat and cheap perfume. Her nose wriggled almost uncontrollably as the rancid smell swamped her. At the sound of the door shutting, she turned and focused her attention on Nina, who was standing and pulling her faded, pink silk robe shut.
She drank their beauty in almost hungrily, reminding herself why she was in the hellhole of a theatre in the first place. Robert moved and stood beside Nina, who had folded her arms across her chest.
Happy with her choice, Gabriella dusted one of the chairs and sat, making herself as comfortable as possible. This was the last place in the world she would ever choose to be, but for her plan to work, she would need working class people. Individuals hungry enough for fame and fortune that they would sell their souls to the devil himself just for a taste. Who could be more famished than a struggling performer; or in this case, a couple of performers?
So she’d had to drag herself downtown, forced to sit for two hours in the dump that somebody had a nerve to call a theater. No one in their right mind who cared about their career or their bodies would even consider what she was about to propose, but the information she had found on these two loved-up dreamers was enough to assure her that her money would be welcomed, even if it took quite a bit of persuading. And she was, after all, very good at persuading.
She placed her red purse on her knee and folded her hands. “May I just begin by saying that you are both simply marvelous dancers?” Her fake and flattering smile slid into place, and satisfaction stirred inside her as the compliment sank in.
Nina blushed as Robert nodded.
Why, thank you.” His broad smile fluttered across his lips. “What can we do for you, miss?”
I was wondering if you would like to make some extra money.”
They glanced at each other.
I was thinking along the lines of ten thousand. How does that suit you?”
Excitement sparked in their eyes. She could see the slight twitches running through their bodies at the offer, and she imagined they either wanted to embrace each other in sheer delight or fall at her feet and kiss her Prada shoes.
Nina beamed. “We would be very interested.”
Yes,” Robert agreed, although hesitation quivered in his words. “But firstly, who are you?”
My name is Gabriella D’Punz. I am—”
Gabriella D’Punz, the founder of Ivory Tower Modeling Agency?” Nina dropped her arms to her side and took a step forward.
Gabriella cleared her throat and purged the surge of irritation that pulsed through her at the girl’s interruption. “That is right, my dear.”
We accept.”
She fought the slight urge to smile at Nina’s conclusion. “You do not even know what I am proposing.”
Naturally, the girl would presume they were being offered a contract for modeling; why else would a modeling agent come to see them?
But surely there is only one reason you would want to see us—”
I’m afraid you have mistaken me, my dear.” Nina’s brow creased under her words. “Or should I say you jumped to conclusions. I am Gabriella D’Punz, founder and agent of Ivory Tower, but I have not come here to offer either of you a modeling contract.”
But—”
Although you are both beautiful—I openly admit it—and you are at a reasonable modeling quality, well, you are such wonderful dancers. That is where your hearts are, and I wouldn’t dare drag you away from that passion.”
Then what do you want?” Nina asked, slumping down in the chair facing Gabriella.
I want a child.” She paused as their eyebrows dipped in uncertainty to where this conversation was heading. “You see, my husband is growing old, and I am unable to have children….”
I…I’m sorry to hear that, but what has this got to do with us?” Robert asked.
Well, I was wondering if you could help me.”
Nina lifted her shoulders, her eyes widened a fraction. “How exactly?”
Gabriella’s focus shifted to Robert; a small smile curled her lips as realization blossomed over his face.
Haven’t you heard of adoption?”
Yes. But I want a surrogate mother and in all honesty, I have had my eyes on you,”—she rested her gaze on Nina—“my dear, for quite some time.”
Nina shifted in her seat. “What do you mean?”
I want you to be my surrogate.”
What? No.” She shook her head. “No, I won’t do that.”
Robert stepped forward. “Why her? What do you mean; you’ve had your eyes on her?”
I saw a show of yours a year ago. I became interested in you. You’re both beautiful and in good health. From what I have learned of your education, you are both decently smart. All the qualities I need in a child. I have considered adoption for years, but I never found a child I liked.”
Nina’s eyes grew bigger. “What, you…you’ve been spying on us?”
No, not spying. I just have an interest. I also have an interest in your career. You’re not making very much money. You have no home. You’re living out of Motels, travelling up and down the country—”
How dare you!” Robert thundered. “How dare you come in here and…and poke your nose in to our business, to ask—”
There’s no need to get hysterical.”
No need? I...I...Get out! I want you out!”
Gabriella sighed. “I see you are going to make this difficult. So, let’s just get down to it, shall we? How much money do you want?”
What? This isn’t about money,” Robert snapped.
Nonsense, everything is about money.” She reached into her purse and pulled out her silver cigarette pouch. “Everyone has a price. So name it.”
No. This isn’t about money. This is about a complete stranger waltzing into our dressing room demanding a baby from us!”
I have not demanded anything from you. Please keep calm.” She placed a cigarette in her mouth and put the pouch back in her purse.
I will not! You have no right! No right to ask this! No right to go digging around in our private business!”
I was not digging, and more to the point, I am offering you fifteen thousand dollars to have a child for me; for a woman who is unable to have children.” Gabriella pulled her lighter from her purse and lit the end of her cigarette.
And that’s our problem?”
I do not see what the problem is.”
You wouldn’t, would you? You strut in here with your expensive clothes thinking you can buy people. Thinking you can buy a baby?” Robert's face grew redder with each word.
Why did you choose us?” Nina’s voice was soft, tentative.
Removing the cigarette from between her lips, she blew out a cloud of smoke. “Because with your looks,—” Gabriella’s lips twisted into a smile “—you would give birth to a supermodel.”
You’re disgusting,” Robert replied through clenched teeth. “Get out!”
You’re making a big deal out of nothing. I get a child, and you get money.” She slipped the lighter back into her purse. “Money that you are both in need of.”
Get out.” Nina stood up. Her hands balled into the material of her robe. “Please, get out.”
Are you sure you want to turn this offer down?” She kept her attention on Nina as she stood. “Twenty thousand can really come in useful.”
Robert walked to the door and opened it. “Your money isn’t welcome here.”
She laughed, and glanced in his direction. “My money is welcome everywhere.”
Get out.”
Why are you so insulted?” She tucked her purse under her arm. “I am offering you twenty thousand dollars to have sex and get pregnant. Once you are pregnant, you will stay in my home as guests. My doctor will see you, take care of you, and then when it is time, he will deliver the baby. As soon as you are well, you may leave. You may leave twenty thousand dollars richer than you are at this very moment. You can get on with your lives, fulfill your dreams. Tell me what is so disagreeable?”
You want me to get pregnant and sell my baby to you for twenty thousand dollars?” Lines creased Nina’s forehead.
Yes.”
No! It’s wrong.”
Gabriella shrugged. “Who said it is wrong?”
Nina shook her head. “I won’t do that.”
Not even for twenty-five thousand dollars?” Gabriella quirked her right eyebrow. “How much do you want?”
Get out!” Robert demanded once more.
Fine.” She reached into her coat pocket and pulled out a small ivory card, which she placed on the vanity table beside Nina. “Call me when you realize this is the best offer you will receive in your lifetime.” She walked past Robert and out the door, turning right toward the fire exit.
Gabriella heard the door slam shut as she took another drag of her cigarette. Then the shouting began. She pushed the fire exit open as her smile spread to her ears.

Blogoversary Countdown giveaway with Elizabeth Morgan!

Welcome to my Blogoversary countdown Giveaway and thank you for joining me in celebrating!

Elizabeth Morgan is here today and has a giveaway for you...and she even has an excerpt too! She is giving away 1 ebook from her backlist to 1 lucky winner!

Hi :) Can you tell us a little about yourself?
Sure. I’m Elizabeth Morgan. I live in Cheshire, United Kingdom with my two cats; MJ and Phantom, and I have been a published author for two years and three months. (Man, time flys.) I write romance – mainly erotic – subgenres: paranormal, urban fantasy, dark humour, erotic horror/thriller, and contemporary, though I hope to dabble in other areas soon.

I am a big movie fan. Love to read paranormal, urban fantasy, and steampunk romances. I adore Dr Who it’s the best programme ever and I’m a huge Sims 3 fan. I’m currently going through a mad garden phaze. Every spare moment I have I’m outside trying to get my gardens neat and tidy. Sounds straightforawrd, but believe me, the garden was a complete mess before I started hacking at it. My back and knees are hurting as I write this due to a long afternoon sowing seeds, and slating flower beds. But the pain will be worth it once I’m finished.

What is the name of your latest book?
Creak (An Erotic Thriller)

Can you show us the cover and the blurb?
I can indeed. I will even throw in an excerpt. ;-P

Blurb:

What happens in Silver Creek, stays in Silver Creek.

After spending the summer as a recluse due to a bad break-up, Nicole Saunders agrees to go to The Heat Wave Festival with her best friends, Kacey and Tyler.

Along with three other friends they plan to take a shortcut through the small town of Silver Creek; the last thing any of them expected was to become lost and end up pulling in to a motel for the night.

The Creek Motel is isolated and the last place Nicole wants to be, especially after meeting the glacial owner, but her discomfort is soon forgot as she finally gives in to her feelings and asks Kacey and Tyler to spend the night with her.

A decision she quickly regrets when she discovers that their friend has mysteriously disappeared from her locked room in the middle of the night. Worried, Nicole presumes the worst, but quickly discovers that Jayne's disappearance is more disturbing than any of them could have guessed.

Friday, September 12th, 2014
9:38 p.m.

We had lost the sun about two hours ago, the helpful lights of the other cars and the freeway about an hour after that.
We had all agreed to cut through the small town of Silver Creek in order to knock an hour off our journey—a decision I was beginning to regret.
My face had been practically glued to the window for the last half an hour as I tried to figure out where the night sky ended and the ground began. It was pitch black out there. Not the kind of night painted in a mixture of dark hues with the added color jumping out once in a while. This was total and complete darkness, the type that seemed to move with us. The half moon and clear blanket of stars above had become our only indication that we hadn't just driven into a tunnel with no end.
The headlights of Kacey's green camper van continued to guide us along the narrow road and further toward Silver Creek, which I still wasn't sure if we had arrived in or not.
In the dim orange glow of the overhead light, I turned to look at Kacey. The blood had drained from his knuckles due to the grip he had on the steering wheel, and his plump lips were set in a firm line. He was pissed. I would even say livid. Which meant only one thing, we had gotten lost.
"Kay?" I said softly. "You might as well pull over."
His eyes narrowed to slits. His focus stuck to the ongoing road. "No."
"It’s pitch black. There are no lights anywhere. No sign of life. Pull over, and let's all spend the night in the van. We can set off early tomorrow, when we can actually see, and figure out where the hell we are exactly."
He may have been a mechanic, but puncturing a tire or crashing into a tree was the last thing any of us needed.
"There's a Motel."
I looked at the surrounding darkness with wide eyes. "I don't see one."
He turned the GPS we had attached to the dashboard toward me, and pointed at a small blue square. "It should be here somewhere."
I stared at the small screen and then back out the front window. Who the hell would put a motel out here? Then again, I suppose if it’s a small trade town, and people did cut through like we’re doing….
"There's the fucker." Kacey declared and put his foot on the gas.
The van jolted as we went over a bump in the road, and a groan came from the back. "What the hell, Kay?" I turned to see Tyler rubbing the back of his head, and looking at us through hooded lids. "Are we there yet?"
I shook my head. "We're lost."
"We're not lost." Kacey stated sharply. "I came down the right route. It's just fucking taking forever because I have to go at a tortoise pace because some stupid asshole didn't think about putting up lights on this shitty back road."
Tyler yawned. "So, we're lost?"
Kacey growled. "We'll stop here and set off in the morning."
I looked back out at the road and watched the speck of light that had suddenly emerged from nowhere, growing bigger and bigger, and finally forming in to a readable size and shape.
The tall sign to the "Creek Motel" flickered in the on-going darkness. The faulty light to the isolated establishment appeared to be the only indication that actual people lived in the area. After an hour of nothing but darkness, the sight caused a pop of relief to tickle my stomach.
Kacey slowed and turned the van in to the small parking lot.
Apart from the two cars sitting along the front of the L-shaped building, the only other sign that the motel operated came from the dull light seeping through the curtains of a few rooms. The van filled with soft groans as Tyler woke up the others and Kacey maneuvered into a free space.
"Are you kidding me?" Disgust leaked in to Jayne's sleep-filled voice.
Kacey scrubbed his hands down his face. "What did you expect, the Hilton?"
"I expected to be in a packed parking lot with tons of people, and lights and loud music." She yawned. "Where are we?"
He cut the engine, and slid out of his seatbelt. "We're stopping here for the night."
"Where is here?"
"We're in Silver Creek."
"Yeah, which is just another name for we're in the middle of fucking nowhere."
Kacey twisted in his seat. "Look, it's too dark. So we're stopping here. We'll set off in the morning and be at the festival in no time. Deal with it."
Dry laughter scraped her throat. "You're so grumpy. Jesus. It's not my fault we had to set off at half past five. We should have set off tomorrow morning."
Kacey popped his jaw, and slid a look at me. "I'll go get us signed in, shall I?"
"I'll come with you." I pushed the door open, and climbed out of the van.
I pulled my jacket tightly around me as we made our way across the rough gravel ground toward the entrance. In the silence, I could hear each small gust of wind whipping around the solitary building.
I followed Kacey through the open doorway in to the dingy, snug reception, which had bare brick walls with old photographs lining them and a heavily worn and scratched wooden floor. Kacey hit the small brass bell sitting on the reception desk and we both stood looking at the closed office door.

What made you come up with the idea for this story?
I actually wrote Creak for an erotic thriller anthology submission call, which fell through.

I love horror and thriller movies and since the requirments for the original submission were that it required a baddie of some sorts, I thought I would have a go and see if all those horror movies had taught me anything. I decided to put my characters into a position I would never want to be in – stranded in the middle of nowhere and having to stay in a motel (psycho anyone?) - and just basically went from there.

Basically Creak was an experiment for me. I don’t know if I would write another erotic thriller, but I never say never. I wouldn’t actually say the story falls under the thriller genre, because compared to actual thrillers . . . well, it wouldn’t come close. I wouldn’t even say it was a horror. I would say it is a soft, creepy sort of thriller, a little dark and sick, with a big dose of sexy thrown in.

Is the book part of a series or do you plan for it to be part of a series?
Creak is a standalone book, or at least that was the plan. After a good friend - and fellow author – of mine read it and stated she might beg me to write a sequal because she wanted to hear more about Tyler and Kacey, and the progress of their relationship with Nikki . . . well, a small idea creeped into my head and I kinda decided I probably could do one more story.

So, I wouldn’t say I plan on Creak being part of a series, but it might possibly be the first part of a duology.

Thanks so much for having me, Dee. Happy Blogoversary!

20 This or That Questions with... Elizabeth Morgan!

Hi all!

Elizabeth Morgan is here today, questions away!!!!!

Food
Sweet or savoury?
It all depends what I’m in the mood for. I love sweets. I’m actually sucking on a lolliepop as I write this. (No, I didn’t mean for that to be rude. I actually do have a lolliepop.) Naturally I love chocolate and icecream and other such goodies, but I’m really into nachos at the moment. Oh I love me some nachos!

Let’s just say both. :)

Salad or sandwich?
Sandwiches. They are more filling.

Macdonalds or Burger King?
MacDonalds. I love there cheese burgers. They just taste so nice.

I’ve never been a fan of Burger King. The burgers are okay, but they are really small compared to MacD’s and I really don’t like their chips.

White meat or red meat?
Red. I will always pick beef before any other meat on the menu.

Entertainment
Bon Jovi or Guns n Roses?
Hard to say because each artist has done some great songs, but I think I will have to go for Bon Jovi. He’s also very handsome. Oh he's definately very handsome!

Movie or book?
I love books, but I would have to say movies, because I tend to spend a lot of my free time watching films. I do love watching a good movie

Movies or TV shows?
Depends on the TV show. There isn’t a great deal on TV that I watch, but I love Dr Who, and True Blood. A lot of the shows I use to watch have ended so I have had to buy them on DVD.

So, let’s just say both.

Harry Potter or Lord of the Rings?
Hard question. I like the Harry Potter movies. I think the world building is fab, and in regards to children, who wouldn’t want to be a wizard/witch? But I couldn’t read all the books. I got bored.

Lord of the Rings blows my mind. The world building is amazing. The characters are fab. I actually read all the books and managed to get through them no problem.

So, definitely LOTR.

Damon or Stefan Salvatore?
Do I have to pick? In the first season – possibly even the second – Stefan was my fave, but Damon has really grown on me. I think what is fab about him is that he has always been himself. He isn’t the best guy. He does tend to look after himself, but at least he has never lied and pretended to be someone he isn’t. Not that that’s the case with Stefan, he’s just a little more complex and on a lot of levels and for many reasons.

So, Damon. And... he's hot!

True Blood or Vampire Diaries?
True Blood. Love the series, I think it is sexy, dark, funny and well, violent, but hey vampires, werewolves, shifters etc. this is paranormal and these creatures aren’t all soft around the edges.

I still think Vampire Diaries is a good show. It’s very different to True Blood, but I think it is nice to see the different views given on all of the above creatures. It shows how different authors view them and what they have been able to create with facts and imagination.

Friends or Sex and the City?
Friends. I haven’t really watched Sex and the City, although the episodes I have seen, well, it looks funny.

Star Wars or Star Trek?
Growing up my father always watched Star Trek, so I do like it, and I think the new movies are fab, but I’m going to have to say Star Wars. I remember going to see it when I was six/seven and it was re-released. I just loved it.

Random
Dominance or submission?
I would have to say both. I believe in equality, but I think it all depends on who your partner is and much you trust one another.

Kisses or hugs?
Kisses, but hugs are nice and sometimes needed more than a kiss. agree

Bath or shower?
Shower. I only take baths if I’ve had a really long and horrid day, or pulled a muscle.

Call or text?
Text. I don’t really call people unless I need too.

Date night: stay in or go out?
Either, because as a couple you’re capable of having fun no matter what you do or where you are. well said!

Singing or dancing?
Singing, I have never really been great at the whole dancing thing.

Vanilla or kink?
Both. It all depends on the mood, but with the right person it wouldn’t really matter what you got down too. ;-P

Cotton or satin?
Cotton for comfort. Satin for a hint of sexiness and confidence.

Anything you'd like to add, or anything new you'd like to tell us about while you're here?

Thank you Dee for having me over, it’s been fun. And thank you so much to all of you for stopping by and reading my ramblings. If you would like to read about what I write, what’s upcoming, and what I am currently working on please feel free to head on over to my website: www.e-morgan.com
