Love Undercover by Nana Prah Cover Reveal!

Title: Love Undercover
Genre: Contemporary Romance, Women’s Fiction (Sweet, Multicultural)
Publisher: Black Opal Books
Release Date: September 13, 2014

The last thing she expects is to fall in love with a prison guard…

Hotshot Secret Service Agent, Sarita Cerez is thrown into a medium security prison—for work. Her job is to protect the daughter of the president of South Korea. She never envisioned making friends with illegal immigrants or falling head over heels for one of the guards. Now the clandestine activity, which is integral to protecting her charge, may destroy her only chance at love.

He's never fraternized with the inmates—until he met her…

Matthew Carter always plays by the rules, which includes maintaining a strictly professional relationship with the inmates in his charge. But when Sarita saunters onto the unit, all bets are off. Her status as a deportee with a permanent ticket to Columbia means they can never be together, but try as he might, this doesn’t stop him from risking his career for her.

He's a man who values honesty above all else, and she lies for a living. Can two people from such different worlds find any common ground?

As inappropriate as the situation had turned out to be, Sarita was his. At least until she returned to Columbia in what? A few days? A week? No matter when, she would go. “No wife or girlfriend to hang out with.”
Her chest deflated with her released breath. He wished he could have taken her air into himself. I’m screwed. “What about you? Are you married or have a boyfriend waiting to break you out of here at the first opportunity?”
Her eyes blazed into his. “Single as single can be.”
The admission sparked something deep within him. He had to touch her. Nothing else mattered except having his fingers glide over her flawless mocha skin. The all-encompassing urge pushed him to stand.
With a controlled effort he strode to the area across from the television and leaned against the wall.
On every unit, one spot existed where neither the cameras nor inmates could see.
Management knew about it, but the cost of adding a third camera would be too expensive for the facility to contemplate so they left it. At least that’s the story Matt had been told.
He’d never used the spot, but as he waited for her to join him, he couldn’t imagine being anywhere else.
He motioned her to him with a crook of his index finger. “Come here.”

BLURB
Ghanaian nurse Aurora ‘Ora’ Aikins never expected to find the love of her life while on vacation in South Africa. Engaged to another and believing that love has no place in her life, she returns to Ghana, and puts duty and honor first.

Three years later, Dr. Jason Lartey still can’t get Ora out of his mind or his heart. After learning she never married, he takes a risk and moves to Ghana hoping to rekindle what they started. His sudden appearance in Ora’s Emergency Department sends sparks flying all over again.

They’re in the same country, working in the same hospital, and together but distance creeps between them. Can they make their destined love one for the ages?

The pain pulsing through Aurora ‘Ora’ Aikins’ injured wrist transitioned into a delicious, unfamiliar tingle when Dr. Lartey touched it.

“It’s just my luck to come on vacation and get hurt,” she huffed in frustration as she forced herself to not sigh at the pleasure his gentle probing touch evoked.

“You were very lucky. The x-ray shows your wrist isn’t broken, but you sustained a very bad sprain so you have to be careful with it,” he said, sounding all business-like.

Each time he touched her wrist, her stomach twisted and her awareness of him as a man, with the need to get to know him better, intensified.

These sensations unnerved her but the gorgeous man she had the privilege of calling her doctor seemed unaffected.

His confident stride had drawn her attention when he’d entered the consulting room. His spicy, with a citrusy undertone, cologne filled the sterile hospital air, making her nostrils flare to take in more of his unique scent. Deep brown eyes had perused her chart as she’d taken in his short-cropped hair, high cheekbones, and thick lips that brought kissing into her mind. Dark smooth skin rivalled the richness of high quality chocolate.

Ora scanned the emergency room cubicle, which had become smaller with the doctor’s broad-shouldered, towering stature, for cameras. Could she be on a reality TV show? Starring in one had never been a life objective, but the crew might have caught her unaware. No visible cameras, but those producers were sneaky and could place one inside a stethoscope.

I received a copy of this book for taking part in the books blog tour, and in return for an honest review.

I started on this a little while back and ended up stopping reading for a couple of weeks, I don't know why but I just couldn't get into it. But.... after picking it up again I couldn't seem to put it down! I really got into it and was desperate to read the ending.

This is a sweet romance book, a little different to the erotic novels I usually read, but I really enjoyed it. It is set in Ghana and revolves around a nurse Aurora (Ora) and an ER doctor she meets while on holiday in South Africa. Ora is engaged but feels herself falling for this doctor, so when she returns home she doesn't contact him again. Fast forward 3 years later and Dr Jason surprises her but turning up as the new doctor in her ER.

The chemistry between Jason and Ora is huge, anyone can feel it, but I felt like Nana totally nailed Ora's feelings when Jason appears in the ER. These 2 were obviously made for each other, but readers don't actually know whether they will end up together until almost the end of the book.
I liked Esi (Ora's cousin) as a side character, I would actually like to see her with her own story, she seems a feisty little thing lol. Ora is a fantastic lady, and the way Nana portrayed her just goes to show that you might think you know what's going on in your life and why, but sometimes you need a shove in the right direction to really see what's going on.

Good book, I'd recommend it.

I haven't written any Inter racial romances, but I have read some really good ones! One that sticks in my mind is the Passion Shields Series by Kiru Taye. I gobbled the first 2 books down and am really looking forward to the third (which I hope is coming out soon!!!).

Benjamin and Selina are the main characters in the series, and you find out all about Selina's past and what brought these 2 together. If you haven't already picked them up I would urge you to!!

Here are the blurbs to entice you a little :)

Scars
She clutches at control to cover her flaws.

He wants to strip her bare because she's beautiful.

Selina Moss hides a secret beneath her controlled happy exterior. Her body is covered in scars and she's never revealed them to anyone. She's not beautiful and she doesn't want pity.

However, it's her wedding night and husband, Benjamin Moss, is determined to strip down her barriers.

Benjamin is not playing fair, not when he's deploying breath-stealing seduction as well as mind-melting sex toys. But will he still want her when she bares all?

Be Warned: sex toys, spanking, bondage

Secrets
Her body is his to command, her heart his to win.

Selina Moss bared her body to her husband and allowed him to see her and touch her like no one else has ever done. When a member of the family visits, she realizes there is still so much about her husband she doesn't know.

Benjamin's remorse about his family history drives his actions. Selina is his present and he'll do whatever it takes to protect her from being contaminated by his past, including revealing the shame that burns his soul.

But for Selina, finding out about Benjamin's past means investing emotionally in a man who's only going to walk away once their temporary arrangement comes to an end. Is she ready to bare her heart to him along with the secrets of their past?
