***REVIEW*** Secrets by Kiru Taye

Secrets (Passion Shields 2) by Kiru Taye

Her body is his to command, her heart his to win.

Selina Moss bared her body to her husband and allowed him to see her and touch her like no one else has ever done. When a member of the family visits, she realizes there is still so much about her husband she doesn't know.
Benjamin's remorse about his family history drives his actions. Selina is his present and he'll do whatever it takes to protect her from being contaminated by his past, including revealing the shame that burns his soul.
But for Selina, finding out about Benjamin's past means investing emotionally in a man who's only going to walk away once their temporary arrangement comes to an end. Is she ready to bare her heart to him along with the secrets of their past?

I received a copy of this book from the author in return for an honest review. Here goes :)

I read this over 2 days, it's not a long book, and would easily be read in one sitting. I read Passion Shields book 1 (Scars) a little while back and loved it, so I was really happy to read Secrets.

I love Benjamin and Selina, and their relationship is a different one. For starters, we see in book 1 that they marry, in return for Benjamin bringing Selina's brother to the UK to live. They have  wonderful Dom/Sub relationship, though Selina isn't actually sure whether she loves Benjamin, or whether he loves her.

Selina is a lovely character, a loving girl who has been hurt so much in the past, and is trying to work her way through her pain. Benjamin is a very caring soul, hard on the outside, soft on the inside.

In Secrets, we see more to their relationship. Some wonderful Dom/Sub scenes as always, but I felt they were more intimate and passionate this time. And a little lovers quarrel this time too! Will it work out for them? Especially when Benjamin's sister turns up out of the blue with some news?

Well I for on loved this, and am really looking forward to book 3!!

Hmmn! Nice review, Dee... If it's like any of Kiru's previous books. It's gonna be very interesting. I look forward to reading it.
