*** REVIEW *** Damaged by Cathy Glass

WARNING! SPOILERS AHEAD IF YOU HAVEN'T READ THIS YET!!!

The Sunday Times and New York Times Bestseller. Although Jodie is only eight years old, she is violent, aggressive, and has already been through numerous foster families. Her last hope is Cathy Glass…

Cathy, an experienced foster carer, is pressured into taking Jodie as a new placement. Jodie's challenging behaviour has seen off five carers in four months but Cathy decides to take her on to protect her from being placed in an institution.

Jodie arrives, and her first act is to soil herself, and then wipe it on her face, grinning wickedly. Jodie meets Cathy's teenage children, and greets them with a sharp kick to the shins. That night, Cathy finds Jodie covered in blood, having cut her own wrist, and smeared the blood over her face.

As Jodie begins to trust Cathy her behaviour improves. Over time, with childish honesty, she reveals details of her abuse at the hands of her parents and others. It becomes clear that Jodie's parents were involved in a sickening paedophile ring, with neighbours and Social Services not seeing what should have been obvious signs.

It’s clear that Josie needs psychiatric therapy, but instead Social Services take Jodie away from her, and place her in a residential unit. Although the paedophile ring is investigated and brought to justice, Jodie’s future is still up in the air. Cathy promises that she will stand by her no matter what – her love for the abandoned Jodie is unbreakable.

Book 1 in my Glass-A-Thon!

I picked this book up a few days go as Cathy Glass has very kindly agreed to guest on my blog. So I decided to do a Glass-A-Thon and read as many of her books as I can :) I have since been told by a friend that this is the hardest of Cathys book to read, and I started with it.

This is the story of Jodie, an 8 year old girl who has very aggressive tendancies. Whilst reading the book, you soon find out why.

Jodie had been through five foster carers in just four months, so Cathy agreed to take her in to her home and help her. Cathy soon learns when speaking to Jodie, that her parents and their friends sexually abused her, she was part of a paedophile ring. The abuse you hear about in the story is awful, I had to stop reading a few times, sometimes to tell myself that this was real and not fiction, and other times because I couldn't see the writing infront of me for the tears dripping from my face. I cried a lot reading this book. I cried when Cathy first finds out, from Jodie, about the abuse she suffered at the hands of her father, mother, and other sickening people. I cried when Cathy said goodbye to Jodie at the end when she went to live in a theraputic residential unit. Basically, I cried when Cathy cried.

Poor Jodie was such a little character bless her heart. She was very anxious, aggressive and angry at first. But the more the story moves on, and the longer she lives with Cathy and her family, the more she becomes used to them, and the more she feels safe around them. Jodie had 2 alter egos, Amy and Reg. Amy was a baby, Reg was an extremely angry man. Cathy describes meeting these alter egos, being kicked and spat at by Reg, and having to comfort Amy when she wet herself. And the hallucinations Jodie has, I can't even begin to imagine what this poor girl went through.

Cathy and her family helped Jodie so much, Cathys own children helping out as much as they could, even when they were kicked themselves by Jodie. It was nice to be able to read at the end, that Cathy and her family still have contact with Jodie, and to hear although she is still at the unit, she is doing better. And it was also great to hear that her father was jailed for the awful awful thigns he done.

After reading jsut this one book from Cathy Glass, I can imagine exactly what a kind woman she is to take on all of these unfortunate children and help them. An extremely kind thing for someone to do.

I am looking forward to reading more of her stories, and looking very forward to chatting with her :)

I'm doing a Glass-A-Thon :)

Hi all!

Well, one of my good friends took it upon herself to ask Cathy Glass if she would like to guest on my blog sometime. I got an email from her and she said she'd love to! I was very shocked but very happy she has agreed.

So, I don't want her turning up on my blog to realise I haven't read any of her books before :/ I know, naughty me huh. So in light of this, I have decided to have a Glass-A-Thon! I have just finished one of her books, and will be starting another soon. I'm going to try to get through as many of her books as I can, and then will ask her to come along and join me here for a chat.

So wish me luck!

Have you read any of Cathy Glass' books?

*** REVIEW *** His Secret Dancer by Faberge Nostromo

Worlds collide when Franci sees Danielle at Tomasz’s club and Dan’s secret is laid bare. Can love conquer all and these star-crossed lovers embrace their star cross-dresser in a boy-girl-boy/girl ménage a trois?

Dan's drab life is a world away from his secret life as Danielle, the burlesque star of Tomasz's transvestite nightclub, Trans-Action.

Having found 'her' inner T girl as a student, Danielle has discovered the power of her femininity and her talent to entice and excite—but she realizes that Dan's life is losing the passion it once had.

As Danielle's relationship with Tomasz takes her deeper into both her lover and his world, encountering passions neither thought they dare explore, demure Francine is too often left to her own devices and desires. Her only release is in the fantasies inspired by the customers who pass through her life and her patisserie.

Does she want a man in her life or a woman? Or both...

Seeing her man exploring her wardrobe she decides to embrace the power of her own sexuality. Then a sizzling encounter with Tomasz unlocks the vixen in her and sets their two worlds on a collision course.

Can Dan bring Dan's world and Danielle's together—especially when he discovers Danielle's secret lover secretly loving Francine?

Or will Tomasz come between them both?

I was so chuffed when Faberge's debut novel came out a couple of weeks ago, and I was dying to get my hands on a copy! So off I ran to Amazon to purchase a copy for my kindle! :)

This is the first trans-gender novel I have read, and at first I wasn't sure what to expect. But I actually really liked it!

There was a lot, and I mean a lot, of sex in the story, but there was still a story behind it all. The sex was good though ;) M/F, M/TG, M/TG/F scenes

Danielle, Tomaz, Francine and Dan (well, Dan is Danielle, but when you read it you understand why they are 2 different characters totally). I liked them all, and hope the way it ended is the way it's going to last!

The description in hte book was great, I could really see the club in my mind, and could definately feel how sexy and feminine Franci and Danni felt in their stockings and lingerie.

Please, if you haven't already, get your hands on a copy here:

20 This or That Questions with... Raven McAllan!!!!!!

Today I am starting my '20 This or That Questions', and my first Victim is The spectacular Raven McAllan! *Insert evil grin here!!!*

Welcome Raven, pull up a chair (or I'll tie you to one!), grab a drink of choice (my bar is highly stocked with alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages!), and spill the beans!

Hi Dee, make mine a wine please :)

Food
Sweet or savoury? sweet... I'm a chocoholic... Especially when It's been in the fridge
Salad or sandwich? Hmm, as I can't eat gluten, it's got to be a salad. but then I need to check ingredients in the mayo, coleslaw etc. I make a mean coleslaw now! That must be frustrating Raven!
Macdonalds or Burger King? Sadly neither, cos of gluten in them. WHY they have to bulk out with gluten filled products is beyond me.
White meat or red meat? I love chicken, but also love a well cooked steak. Unashamed carnivore that's me. Me too lol!

Entertainment
Bon Jovi or Guns n Roses? ER lol. This is me... Now if you said The Rolling Stones or The Beatles ( A draw) Cliff or Elvis ( Cliff) or even Clapton or Dylan ( early Dylan all of Clapton) :O Bon Jovi rule!! I love a bit of Elvis to myself, but Cliff??
Movie or book? Book every time. I hate the cinema, get bored in a movie. *ducks*
Movies or TV shows? Do you know, I'm not really a TV person. It's background noise. I'll sort of watch the rugby and the Grand Prix. Have half an ear listening to things like The Antiques Road show, and such, but DH despairs. He'll be watching something, leave the room, come back and say, who scored, or what's happened. I'm like eh?  I listen to the radio, but even that isn't necessary. I love the sound of silence! (And the song.)
Harry Potter or Lord of the Rings? I gave up on both of them after a few chapters. So not my thing. Yes, I'm one of the few.
Damon or Stefan Salvatore? who? I do not know what to say to that! Google image woman!
True Blood or Vampire Diaries? Um... Shall I just go home now? I do like the Jace Everett signature tune for True blood though. However I'm a wuss, I hate anything remotely nasty.
Friends or Sex and the City? Now Yee HAAA I can answer this. I've watched lots of Friends because when my daughter lived at home we watched them together. In fact we watched the very last episode in a Bar in Rhodes on our very first mum-daughter only holiday. They played the very first before hand with subtitles and them as the last episode came on with sound, wondered why the bar went silent. And when Ross is shouting "did she get off the...?"  and he gets his answer.... the place erupted. I totally agree with you! Best episode ever!
Star Wars or Star Trek? um never watched either... comes under the nasty banner lo... yes my nasty banner is incredibly random, I agree.

Random
Dominance or Submission? depends on the mood... Hmmmm
Kisses or hugs? depends on who it is... sometimes I prefer a handshake. Air kisses are the pits!
Bath or shower? Shower to get clean. Bath to relax read, plot, plan and drink fizz
Call or text? usually text cos 'll get involved in writing and forget to call. Sad but true
Date night: stay in or go out? tends to be stay in these days. Or it's a date overnight in a hotel so no one has to worry about driving.
Singing or dancing? I can't sing for toffee, however I do sometimes sing along to music in the car. I love dancing.
Vanilla or a bit of kink? Ice cream? Oh def vanilla? Kink? Hmm depends what you call kink...
Cotton or satin? cotton in the sun.. silk in the... in the where was that? ;)

Thanks Raven! Fantastic answers! That last episode of Friends was amazing wasn't it!

And to top things off, Ravens latest Regency, 'A Rose Between The Thornes', the sequel to the best selling Rogue Scandals, To Please A Lady  is out on Friday from www.breathlesspress.com. Make sure you get hold of a copy! And guess what folks?! Lucky me, It's hot off the press and on my Kindle, ready to read (Courtesy of the very lovely Raven herself)!!! :D

You gotta love her don't ya!

Check back next Thursday to see who my next victim will be ;) Mwah-ha-ha!!

*** REVIEW*** Will You Dance Miss Laurence by Raven McAllan

Dancing lessons were supposed to be fun, but who ever heard of attending them without your knickers on?

Shibari Master Ryan is intrigued by Ava, so when his cousin asks a favor, he is only too happy to help Ava out of the rut she says she is in.

Will her past allow her to enjoy his bondage, or will true submission prove a step too much?

Fantastic new book by Raven!

This is the story of Ava who really needs...well... a good seeing to! With a little help from her frien, she is pushed towards Ryan, the dance teacher. The dancing seems a good idea, so she agrees to come back, although this time he's said she has to come knickerless! Knickeless with a dress! Oh my!!

These 2 get up to some great stuff, and the connection between the 2 characters is great. I really liked Ryan a lot.

If you want to find out whether Ava allows Ryan to dominate her, you will have to buy the book! No spoilers from me!

Fab book, and can't wait for the second one 'Dance to a Different Beat', which a little birdie tells me is out in May! :D

*** REVIEW *** Mr Satisfaction Garenteed - Natasha by Doris O'Connor

Mr. Satisfaction Guaranteed, 2

Mr. Satisfaction Guaranteed, the card read—what a pretentious name for an escort.

Still, cancer survivor Natasha has to do something to reclaim her sexuality after her reconstructive surgery, and he comes highly recommended—by her mother no less.

When she meets the experienced Dom, he makes every submissive bone in her body sing and wish for things that can never be. Or can they? Fantasy fulfillment is all well and good, but she is just another client.

As they test all of her boundaries, will their one night heal her, or break her?

Be Warned: BDSM, m/m sex, mmf play, voyeurism, spanking

I coulnd't wait to read this! I loved the firt Mr SG so I knew I'd like this one too :)

This one is Natashas story, she is a cancer surviver who is feeling rather down about her appearance etc. Mr SG soon sorts that out! As a gift from her mother, Natasha meets Mr SG and has a very good time.

The scenes were fantastic as always, the M/M scene was a treat too! Quite a few parts I really enjoyed actually. The characters were lovely. Natasha and Mr SG were very good together.

With giggles, tears, and a lot of damn good sex, this book is certainly a one to grab! Hopefully this is not the last we'll hear from the sexy mr SG!

Well done Doris!

*** REVIEW*** 12 by Melissa Hosack

It is December 2012 and the world is on edge about the foretold end of humankind. 12 follows multiple characters through the Mayan prediction of the end of the world. While battling for their lives, these individuals come up against natural disasters of every kind. Go on a thrill ride with Peyton, a teenaged babysitter who suddenly finds herself protecting her charge amidst devastating tornadoes. Join college student Lily Singh while she struggles to survive earthquakes in a foreign country. Follow scientist Kyle Phelps as he discovers the local volcano is about to erupt and there is nothing he can do but try to outrun it. There’s even the tale of an entire nation sinking to the bottom of the Pacific Ocean, taking along its inhabitants and possibly the American news crew sent to broadcast the events. Will humanity be able to persevere as it always has? Or will they slip silently into the night, returning earth to its original owner, Mother Nature?

I recieved a copy of this book from Melissa in exchange for a review on my blog! I was very happy to read it! My apologies to her for not reading it sooner!

I actually enjoyed this story. At first, I wasn't sure how easy it would be to follow as there are quite a few characters.

The story is broken down into different parts, each with a title of the character and their wherabouts. This does make reading the story easier to follow. Each character is in a different part of the world, and many different natural disasters are occuring. You follow each character as they try to survive, some may survive, some may not, but to find that out you will have to read the book!

No spoilers from me, but I will say that there was one part which really tugged at my heart strings and brought a few tears to my eyes. I liked all of the characters, some more than others.

It was a good story, the first apocolypse story I've read, and I would read more!

Losing your reading mojo sucks :(

Where is my reading mojo gone?!

I can not get into a book at the moment, doesn't matter what book I try to read. I think it's because I've been full of cold and flu for the last week, and the headaches are not helping either. I just can't seem to concentrate on anything.

Hopefully it will bugger off soon and I'll be back to reading constantly lol!

I've been asked to review a book by an author so hopefully I can get on with it shortly.

Fingers crossed :)

#sexysnippets again

#sexysnippets time again folks!

I'm back with another sexy seven from my WIP When Nature Calls.

His rock hard cock was pressing against her ass, nudging it's way towards her hole.

She felt his nails run down her spine, stopping above the crack of her ass. Sharp and seductive, they ran up and down, causing goosebumps all over her body. How she wanted those nails to run over her cunt, which was ready and waiting, dripping juices at every little touch. He made a low, vibrating growl. She turned to look at him for the first time, properly.. and he was gone.

Where had he gone?

Thanks for reading folks! And thanks for all the amazing comments on last weeks #snexysnippets! They made my day! :)

And please check out the other authors and their #sexysnippets here at www.thenuthousescribblers.blogspot.com and https://www.facebook.com/SexySnippets

Please please everyone read this....

Not my usual post but I had to share this.

A well known lady from a parenting forum I'm on sadly lost her 7 month old son Maison on Thursday.  He pulled himself up in his cot and managed to grab some nappy sacks to play with.  He fell asleep with one on his face :(

His mother wants to warn people of the dangers of keeping things like this in your childs reach and has asked everyone to share this.

Thoughts and love go out to his family at this very sad time

Baby Talk (Book 1) by Mike Wells

Baby Talk (Book 1) by Mike Wells

In this creepy horror novel, Neal Becker is convinced that his 5 month old baby daughter can talk. But that's impossible...isn't it? Except that Neal didn't really want to get married in the first place and pushed his wife for an abortion. And now, Baby Natasha knows it. She's out to get Neal, or so he believes. Join the two in a terrifying battle for survival that will make your blood run cold!

I read this over the last 2 days, just a short book though. It came up on one of my GoodRead friends lists so thought I'd give it a go.

Firstly, the book ends rather abruptly, and you have to buy the second book to find out what happens. A lot of people have left reviews on it saying they think this is a very nasty, kiniving trick by the author. Me... I think it's rather clever! Any author wants people to buy their books,a nd if someone likes them they will. So any one who has read Baby Talk book 1, and liked it, will go and buy book 2.

Anyway, on with the review. It was a good book, but not great. The whole story is about Neal, his wife Annie and their baby girl Natasha. Neal never wanted the baby, and that is made clear numerous times throughout the book. But, he and Annie married anyway and had their daughter. At 5 months old, Natasha speaks to Neal, things start to happen, and Neal starts to think Natasha is out to get him.

A bit freaky I suppose, but I didn't get the horror of the story really. I did want to finish it to see what happened though, so I guess the author did capture me! I will be buying book 2 at some point and finishing off the story.

The Golden Cock by Elizabeth M VaLey

The Golden Cock by Elyzabeth M VaLey

Kind-hearted Vincent Stowe spent years with an inferiority complex until, one day, after accepting to help an older woman with an odd request he receives a life-changing gift.
“Ice Duchess” Brielle is desperate for a solution to her inability to orgasm, so when word about a man with a magical cock reaches her ears, she decides that he just might be what she needs.
Will Vincent’s "Golden Cock" be enough for the "Ice Duchess", or will something else come to play along the way?

I thought this was a great naughty Fairy Tale ;) my daughter has recently started listening to an audio book of  The Golden Goose, and every time I hear it I think of Elyzabeths naughty version!

I loved the story in this book.I felt very sorry for Vincent when he was in the presence of this brothers, the names they called him etc. But did he prove them wrong or what! Wha a lovely kind man he is, putting others pleasure before his own, and donig anything he can to help a woman in need. Vincent really seemes like a ncie character, with some great... erm... developments!? :)

Brielle was another nice character, and I'm glad she found what she was searching for!

The scenes were amazing, and the menage scene too was great!

This is one naughty Fairy Tale everyone should get stuck into :D

Sol and the Magic Fingers by Doris O'connor

Sol and the magic fingers by Doris O'connor

Breaking your e-reader at the end of a long and trying day is enough to send any woman over the edge. Karen's one treat are her naughty stories. Desperate times call for desperate measures.
Saucy stories in the old library? It doesn't seem likely, but when Karen is sent home with an odd looking reading device, magic happens at the touch of her fingers. Is the drop dead gorgeous man she encounters real or just a flight of her imagination?
Caught in a weekend of sexual delight, will she lose her heart, as well as her inhibitions? And is there any future for the two of them?

This was a fantastic story. Oh how I would love a magic ereader like the one Karen got!

The ending was great (dont worry, no spoilers from me), and it was just right. Any other ending wouldn't have had the same impact on me.

Sol was amazing ;) what a beautiful character.

Everyone should get their hands on this little beauty!

Guest Author: The fantastic Brook Syers!

Today I have a the brilliantly funny Brook Syers visiting my blog.

So after throwing him into a chair, and pointing a bright light in his face, he finally gave in and agreed to answer some questions! So I turned off the bright light, and made him a cup of coffee instead, as I was totally bluffing the interrogation thing anyway! I'm a lover not a fighter :)

Comfortable now Brook? Good! Here we go!

Tell us a little about yourself? Perhaps something not many people know?

I’m a crime-fighting CPA during the day and renegade writer at night. Yeah, right. I’m an Audit Manager at a Fortune 500 company and write books in my spare time, which is almost never since I have a 5-year-old son that I want to raise right so he won’t turn out to be a serial killer.

Not many people know that I have a Master’s Degree in Criminology and after seeing The Silence of the Lambs, I wanted to join the FBI, that is until I found at that crime fighting doesn’t pay as much as crime does. Just kidding. I love Texas and didn’t want the government moving me to any of those other 49 states.

What made you want to become a writer?
I’m in it for the money [chuckle, chuckle]. All aspiring writers are laughing right now. But seriously, there are just words inside of me that need to get out. I enjoy making people laugh and you’ll see humour throughout my books. A very serious and dramatic chapter will be followed by a funny one. I think that sets me apart from other writers, or at least I hope so, though I don’t take myself too seriously as a writer.

Do you have any hidden or uncommon talents?
Let’s just say that if I entered a burping contest, I would win hands down.

What gives you inspiration for your book(s)?
I have two series out right now – The Brainiacs and The All-American Family. The Brainiacs tells the stories of some really smart kids that decide to fight back against the bullies in their school. They use technology in different and interesting ways in order to do so.

The All-American Family is like a sitcom written as an ebook. I needed an outlet for my humour (since my wife no longer laughs at my jokes) and I thought: “Why not write a prime-time sitcom as a book and release it in episodes?” Sales have been brisk and they’re only 99 cents each – maybe they should put them on the dollar menu at McDonald’s?

Are your characters based off real people or did they all come entirely from your imagination?
Any author who doesn’t want to be sued will claim that they are entirely from their imagination, but that’s a lie. There are shades of people you’ve met in every character you create. It’s inevitable. I can’t tell you how many of my friends and family members have asked: “Am I in your book?” To which I reply, “yes, you’re on page 137.” It takes them a while to realise that ebooks don’t have page numbers.

Could you tell us a bit about your most recent book and why it is a must-read?
I’m about to release book #3 in The Brainiacs series. It’s titled The Brainiacs vs. The Guard. The protagonist (Theo Phillips) faces his biggest adversary yet: a splinter terrorist group intent on destroying America. The plot is international and the action is nonstop. I’m really proud of it and like to think it shows that I’m growing as a writer.

What do you love most about the writing process?
Writing is a creative outlet, much like painting or making music. I feel sad on days that I don’t have time to write. Creating characters and breathing life into them is an adrenaline rush.

Of all the characters you have created, which is your favourite and why?
I’m going to have to go with Bob Evans from The All-American Family series. He’s a dorky dad that has a kind heart but finds it very difficult to relate to his kids. That and he feels trapped by the American Dream, much like the rest of us.

What is the biggest surprise that you experienced after becoming a writer?
I would say the marketing aspect of it. Writing books is hard enough, but marketing them, and yourself, was something I wasn’t really prepared for. There are so many different marketing methods that it’s sometimes overwhelming, however if you put a lot of effort in creating the best product, I’ve found that to be the best marketing method available.

Do you have a day job in addition to being a writer? If so, what do you do during the day?
I’m an auditor during the day and as you can imagine, most people aren’t happy to see me. In fact, most people go out of their way to avoid me in the hall. I’ve gotten used to it over the years. But auditors are people too – and in my case, I actually like people, which is rare for an accountant.

Tell us a little about your plans for the future. Where do you see yourself as a writer in five years? Do you have any other books in the works?
I’m experimenting with my first nonfiction book where I offer life lessons from really crazy stories in the press. My favourite so far is the guy who outsourced his own job to China. I think it will end up being a tongue-in-cheek self-help book that all Americans will identify with.

Who knows where I’ll be in five years? I just want to get through today alive.

And now, just some little random questions!

Favourite TV show?
The Walking Dead. When the zombies come, I’ll be prepared from the lessons I’ve learned from this show.

Favourite movie?
It’s a tie between Old School and Wedding Crashers.

Favourite city?
Austin, Tx.

Favourite food?
Chocolate-dipped cheesecake on a stick from the Houston Rodeo.

Favourite book?
Catch Me If You Can.

To conclude, is there anything you would like to say to your readers?
Well Dee, as the #1 fan of my All-American Family series, I want to say thank you for your support! Seriously, just knowing that someone out there felt compelled enough to contact me and request an interview makes all my writing efforts worth it. To my other 5 fans, I love you y’all too!

You are very welcome Brook! I love your All American Family series (which everyone must read by the way!), and really must get on with your Braniac series too!

And thank you so much for coming over and taking the time to chat :) Must do it again sometime!

Truth or Dare by Michaela Rhua

Leah and Jess have been friends for years, and having set up business together, they are even more aware of the need to keep things strictly professional. However all that changes after one drunken dare leads them to discover unbelievable passion. Who knew when friends become lovers the result would be so explosive and life altering, even if things seem different in the cold light of day. Can two friends face the truth and find happiness or was it a dare too far?

Today I read this very sexy short by Michaela. And I bloody well loved it! The chemistry between the 2 characters was fantastic, which made the sex scenes a-freakin-mazing! Leah and Jess both seem like really fun girls, they run a club together, and live in the apartment above. After a bit of a drink one night, they get closer than before, and I have to say theat scene was so damn hot! You really feel for both characters throughout the story as you start to understand where both girls are coming from, and how they are tkaing thigns the way they are. I will say no more as not to spoil anything big!

Needless to say this is a great little read, and I'm glad I picked it up! And I heard this is Michaelas first F/F story so well done to her for making it so good!

Good Enough To Share by Zara Stoneley

WARNING!! SPOILERS AHEAD!!

An erotic contemporary romance, including menage, F/M/F, M/F/M and sex outdoors.

One Christmas, four friends – but will they still be together by New Year?

Divorce wasn’t part of the plan for Holly, but then again nor was spending the festive period with two sexy men and Santa’s little helper! With a disastrous marriage behind her, and three good friends who are willing to share, moving on could be fun – if only she can accept that sometimes her heart is wiser than her head.

Dane doesn’t do commitment, which suits Holly just fine. But when things heat up between the four friends, he’s forced to face up to his past. Will realising he’s good enough mean he no longer wants to share…?

Laid back Charlie knows that if his best friend becomes his lover he could end up losing big time. But can he resist? And when the girl he once loved comes back, who will he decide to spend the New Year with?

…And Sophie just wants to have fun. She’s got the answers to everyone's problems, except her own …. is she the one who needs good friends most of all?

Will a caring, sharing, lust and love filled Christmas lead to the happy ever after they all desire?

WARNING - Christmas may never seem the same again!

I recieved this book from Zara in exchange for a review. I was more than happy to oblige :)

I really enjoyed this story. The characters were very likable, especially Dane! I pictured him so clearly, and think I may have a little thing for him! Holly was a lovely, sweet girl...well...sometimes! Sophie, at first felt a bit pushy. She wanted to 'help' everyone with everything... in other words meddle lol! But once you've read the whole thing, and find out about her childhood, you feel so sorry for her, and I would love to read more of her story. Charlie, well I could see myself getting to like him.. a lot!

The menage a trios were great, MFF, MMF, MMF. I was looking forward to seeing Holly taken by both guys at the same time, maybe in the next book? The scenes were very hot and sexy, there was a lot going on but it never spoiled the story at all.

All in all a great little read. The first of Zaras I have read, and am now totally looking forward to book number 2 (which a little birdie tells me is out at the end of March!).
