Like all things worthwhile, love comes at a price, and the cost soon bestows more anguish than joy. Lost, but not undone, Anne must find the courage to begin life anew, or succumb to sorrow's unrelenting waves of grief.

AUTHOR INTERVIEW

Please tell us a little about yourself
I’m a stay-at-home mom to three little children who rarely if ever finds me time. I have no idea how I get any writing, let alone blogging, editing, or guest posts for blog tours done!

How did you come up with the idea for your book?
This story came to mind over 10 years ago, in a life I’ve since left to start anew. I’ve always enjoyed history—and womens roles / places in society along the years. It’s amazing how drastically things have changed in just a few hundred years. My hope is to remind women how good we really have, and how we need to be thankful for all the opportunites we now have.

When did the characters first pop into your head?
It’s been over a decade since Anne first started talking to me. She has evolved into a lovely young lady, and gone much further in her growth than I ever expected.

Without giving away any spoilers, was the story always straight forward for you to write, or did it pop up any surprises along the way?
It took me awhile to get the timeline right, and once I did, I realized a few changes needed to take place in order for a natural flow. Surprised? I’d say no. Just excitement building, along with a thrill of where Anne would eventually end up.

Where do you like to write?
I’ll write wherever and whenever I can. Last summer I really enjoyed sitting outside in the shade and writing by hand with a pen & my clipboard while the girls played in their sand box. However, this year the little man will be crawling all over the place and doubtless wanting to eat every bug and rock his pudgy fingers pick up. So...nap time I suppose?

Do you read a lot?
Not nearly as much as I used to—or as much as I’d like. These days it’s either write or read, and with deadlines looming, the write and edit usually win out.

Who are some of your favourite authors?
Sheesh. That is a tough one. Lisa Kleypas, Stephanie Laurens, Roni Loren, Jocelyn Adams, Robert Jordan, Terry Goodkind, and a hundred others!

And last but not least, have you any words of wisdom for aspiring writers out there?
Never give up, and keep honing your craft. Keep hitting the submit button!!

AUTHOR BIO
Terri started writing stories in the 8th grade, when a little gnome whispered in her brain. Gundi’s Great Adventure never hit the best seller list, but it started a long love affair with storytelling.
Today she enjoys an escape to Middle Earth during the rare ‘me’ moments her three young children allow. When not playing toys, picking them back up, or kissing boo-boos, she can be found sprawled on the couch with a book or pencil in hand, and toothpicks propping her eyelids open.
