Too Cold to Love (Giovanni Clan #2) by Doris O'Connor

Too Cold to Love (Giovanni Clan #2) by Doris O'Connor

Marco Giovanni has shut off his emotions following a messy divorce. His small daughter and his chain of bakeries are all he needs in his life. The string of nannies are an unfortunate necessity he could well do without. So why does his body have to remember its needs now with the latest and most unsuitable nanny ever?

Elise has always been the responsible one, so when she receives yet another SOS phone call from her wayward twin, she does the only thing she can do, she steps into her shoes. Having to go back to nannying is hard enough, the unexpected attraction to her arrogant employer is impossible to deal with. Especially when she is forced to agree to a marriage of his convenience to pay off the debt her twin accrued.

In a marriage based on blackmail can passion turn into love, or will secrets and lies destroy all?

Ms O'Connor can do no wrong with these very sexy Italians that play in her mind!

Too Cold to Love is the second book in the Giovanni Clan series, and is jsut a good as the first book, Too Hot To Handle.

I loved the story of Marco and Elise. At first a very love/hate relationship. One minute they're biting each others heads off, the next they're donig some very questionable things with tinned fruit (read it and you'll never look at a pineapple in the same way again!!)!

Marco is a strong, sexy, hot-headed italisn who seems to want what he wants, and gets it.

Elise a very caring person, who will obviously do anything to help someone she loves. Thats how it all started right?

Marcos daughter Mimi is a very cute little character, and I could totally relate to how the family felt with her issues. Lets just say what Elise teaches her is wonderful, a heartfelt moment in my opinion.

Mamma G (Stella) is back in this story too, and is the same as always getting into others business, and trying to help. I suppose thats what being the head of a massive family like the Giovannis does to you!

A wonderful story of love and passion. The sex scened were so hot, and really well written. They got up to some kinky stuff those 2!

A great read, and I would definately recommend anyone who hasn't started this series, get out and buy it!!!!!!! You will no doubt fall in love with the Giovanni men, I know I did!

Too Hot To Handle by Doris O'Connor

Too Hot To Handle by Doris O'connor

When firefighter Alex Giovanni returns to his old neighborhood to fulfill family obligations, he is reunited with the woman inhabiting his dreams. The sexy siren ran out on him after one explosive night many years ago. Hiding behind her sensible clothes she portrays the perfect image of Miss Prim and Proper and Alex vows to unlock the passionate woman he remembers. Mixing business with pleasure has never been so much fun.

Kitty Jenkins’ orderly life gets turned upside down when Alex walks into her school. Their passion filled night four years ago has left her with a secret that threatens to tear them apart. Giving into Alex is out of the question, regardless of how much her body craves his touch.

When secrets spill and disaster strikes, can their passion turn into love?

What an amazing book! I honestly have hardly taken my eyes away from my kindle today as I needed to finish this.

Everyone knows how much I love Doris Club Ink books, but I think I may be falling for another family now! Mr Giovanni is so damn sexy, and a fire fighter too? Well, that just made my day ;)

SPOILERS!!

At the start of the book when Kitty meets Alex and ends up having a passionate one night stand with him, I was glad she got a good night. But as the story moved on and 4 years later, Alex ends up back in her life, I was thrilled! And I just knew he had to be the father of her son too. Little Noah was such a sweet character in the book, bless him.

One character I couldn't stand at first was Stella (mamma Giovanni), but as the story moves on, you begin to understand her a lot more, and I actually began to rather like her. Irene on the other hand.... Grrrrr!!! And not in a good way! I would have punched her a lot sooner than Kitty did!

The accident, I was so sad when this part of the story happened. My first thought was that he'd been hurt in a fire, but I never thought he'd been hit by a bloody car! I was praying along with them that Alex would wake, and was so glad when he did. And I will admit, in the last chapter of the book, when he says the best part of their wedding was when he stood and walked towards his bride to be at the alter, I did shed a tear or two!

The sex scenes were amazing, I loved how Kitty and Alex just couldn't keep their hands off each other anytime they were alone together. I could feel the passion between them.

I really really enjoyed this adn am so glad I picked it up! I really want to move onto the second in the series now too, Too Cold To Love. I think I'l have to buy it lol!

Well done Doris, great story, and I think Mr G is fan-bloody-tastic!
