Bon Jovi Concert.... Take 2, in Glasgow!! July 3rd 2013

So a bit late I know, but on July 3rd 2013 we went to the second Bon jovi concert this year :) This time my sister came with us too. Here's how our day went.

The day before the concert (2nd), my sister stayed over, and guess what..... found out that night that she's pregnant!!! So joyous news straight away!!!

The next morning my aunt came round at 10 to watch the kids, and we left when Darren picked us up at about 10.45am.

We stopped off once on the way there, and I think it took us around 2 1/2 hours to get to Glasgow from Newcastle. The drive was fine, I think we were just so excited lol!

We parked, then went for something to eat at a nearby pub. Burger and chips, and it was really nice,. I had a bottle of Smirnoff Ice (which I've not drank since I was about 18 lol), and then a 'woo woo' cocktail!

We went straight into Hampden Park and got our place at about 4pm (after Darren had to go move the car as we didn't realise we parked in a permit only area :/), and sat on the floor for a while with a drink of pop and took some photos.

This is me and my sister. Love this photo :)

And heres my sister in her tour top, trying to hide her face! :)

'Of Kings and Captains' were supprting Bon Jovi again, and they aren't too bad actually! But the other support band 'We Were Promised Jetpacks' were awful, I'd be very happy to never see them again!

Bon Jovi were a little late taking to the stage, about 20 minutes late I think, but when they arrived they sure arrived!!! The concert was fab, the crowd were much better than at Sunderland too.

Note: Phil X was filling in for Richie Sambora.

The concert was great, and as the Jon Bon walked around the Golden Circle bit we got to see him again, nowhere near as close as last time as we were just normal standing this time, but still good! The set was only on for under 2 hours, so not as long as last time, but I still enjoyed it. Check out some of the pics:

Afterwards we ran down infront of the stage to get some photos of the licence plate sign:

Me and my sister infront of the sign (getting pushed out of the way though as they were dismantling it straight away!)

The drive back seemed to take ages, and we were all so tired, so the next day the kids stayed off school!

Hope these guys come back next year! With Richie this time though!

Blurb: Step into a world where the greatest adventure of all is desire.

Haye offers to teach her about the desire she craves, but he is not of the mortal world, and to know his touch Deborah must face the challenges of his forest; a world of bizarre and fantastic creatures, seductive temptations, and dangerous enemies.

Will Deborah succeed and win Haye? Or will she succumb and lose both herself and the male who stirs her body and soul...

Excerpt:

"Mmm, I could teach you about life, little Deborah Diddle, teach you all about the best bits, as you put it. Give you a taste of the desire you seek. But you would have to face my forest first. The apple will allow you to enter, but there will be challenges, things that will test you."

"And if I fail these challenges?" Deborah asked in a breathy voice.

Haye's expression tightened with menace. "If you fail, you would be trapped in there forever."

With a shiver, Deborah closed her eyes. To risk that much? Opening her eyes again, she looked up at him. "What would be my reward if I win?"

His expression softened, his lips twisting into a seductive smile. "If you win, if you defeat everything in your path, then I will be waiting for you as your reward."

Now it was Deborah's turn to tilt her head, appraising him. "And what makes you worth such efforts, sir?"

A surprised look crossed Haye's handsome face and then he stepped even closer, his expression growing dark and heated. Deborah held her ground, though she was unsure whether instinct was telling her to run or stay.

Haye stopped only a hairsbreadth from her, his height forcing her to crane her neck to look up at him. Deep in his eyes a fire burned and Deborah could feel it spreading across the space between them, fanning a flame inside of her.

"I'm the best you could ever have, little girl. I could show you things that you would never dream about in your darkest fantasies. Do things to you that would make you scream in pleasure. I could teach you everything about passion, lust, and desire you could ever hope to know. If you are worthy of me."

A sharp breath left her at his words. This close, he overwhelmed her, his silky voice and male presence wreaking havoc with her senses, and as she looked up into his eyes she felt herself being pulled toward him like a moth to the deadly flame. This male was living temptation, danger and damnation, sex and desire, in one mouthwatering form. In truth, he was everything Deborah had been looking for.

Not even realizing what she was doing, Deborah leaned closer, raising her hand to touch him, but her fingers passed through him as if he were made of air. She snatched her hand back, and looked up at him in confusion.

A mocking smile now played on those masculine lips. "I have no physical form in your world. If you want to touch me, girl, if you want my hands on your body, you will have to come to me fully." He held out the apple. "If you dare."

Oh, how she wanted his touch! With merely a look and a few seductive words, Haye had evoked more desire in her than any of her encounters with Rolf. She could barely imagine what being kissed or touched by him would feel like, but she knew it would be beyond anything her world could ever give her. In that moment Deborah knew she would risk all to experience it.

Raising her chin in a defiant gesture, she grabbed the apple from him. "I believe, sir, that you are an arrogant ass. But as you are also the most desirable man I have ever seen, I will take your challenge." She raised the apple to her lips, pausing before taking a bite. "When I see you next you'd better be as good as you say."

I received a copy of this book from one of the authors (Allie A Burrow) in return for an honest review!

Here's my short reviews on each story:

For One Night Only by +Allie A Burrow ★★★★★
I loved this story. The scene in the train was one hot ride! But I loved how quite obviously Mark and Kate loved each other. Allie done well writing this story of 2 people in a long distance relationship,  I think she captured their longing for each other perfectly :)

Over A Dead Body by +Leona Bushman ★★★★
I quite enjoyed this story. I liked the start of the story, how Riker was automatically thought to have been the killer, and how it just so happened to be his ex who was called in to the scene ;) The sexual tension in this one was high between the 2 characters, and eventually you see where that tension takes them!

Red, Whites and Blues by Mickey J Corrigan★★★★★
Fantastic story :) I loved how this one literally got straight down to the dirty. Rolling around in the sand, naked with a hot stranger, what a way to spend your day! But I got goosebumps during the last few paragraphs. Those last paragraphs were my favourite, very sweet indeed :)

Leave Taking by +Angelica Dawson ★★★★★
A hot short from Angelica. I liked this one, the passion between husband and wife was huge. I can't begin to imagine what it is like not to see your other half for long periods of time, but if the reunion is anything like what these guys had, I'm sure all those who have moments like this, always enjoy it :)

First Date: The Italian Colonel by Jessabelle Jones★★★★★
This was another quick story, but a good one. The Colonel was a damn fine Italian, who seemed like the type of guy who could stop hearts in an instant! Great sex scenes in this one too, I liked the truck scene ;)

Majors Minah by +Raven McAllan ★★★★★
Wow. Ms McAllan has a way with words, and certainly has a way with her historical romances ;) I really enjoyed this and would love to read more of Minah and Olivers life together.

Knock Out by Natalia Petrovskii★★★★
A lovely story about Nicole and Ryan. Both like to spar with each other in the gym, until one day, even though Nicole thinks he's an arrogant pig, Ryan changes things and kisses her. There starts a lovely relationship, and plenty of secret sex :)

A Chance at Love by +Shelli Rosewarne ★★★★
Suzanne is told right at the start that her brother has been killed in action, which devastates her and her brothers friend Aiden who came to give her the news. Aiden stays over as he can't get straight back home, and Suzanne sees and opportunity to feel something more than just pain for a while. a lot of sex later, a beautiful love story arrived :)

Taking Command by +Zara Stoneley ★★★★
Jade and mike meet again, him a good friend of the family, 6 months after a wild night of passion together. Now at first I was like 'wtaf! Shes gonna drug him!' But when you see she doesn't its all good :) a good story from Zara!

Riding Out the Storm by Natalia Petrovski★★★★★
I liked this one. Anna and Kyle both have to take shelter in a cabin somewhere when a storm comes in while they're on a training exercise. Anna has always known Kyle was a good looking dude, and certainly finds out just what he's capable of when they're alone together... freezing cold.... and need a way to keep warm ;)

All in all I give this book 5 stars! I've already read some works from some of these authors, and like them, now I've found more authors too watch out for! I really enjoyed it (even though it took me a while to get through as I've been kinda ill quite a bit recently), and look forward to reading more stories from these authors :)

I have a new story out with Breathless Press in the Ad-Dick-tion Anthology vol. 3. It continues the love story between my heroes Eran and Paul that I began in Ad-Dick-tion vol. 3.
PAUL'S MISTAKE

Paul has no doubts. He wants Eran in his life. But can Eran, a young man from an abusive background, come to terms with his fears so he can have a future with this man he loves?

EXCERPT

The technician looked around, a smile spreading on his friendly face. He patted the soft case he carried. "Excellent. This should only take a few minutes."
Paul held the door open and motioned to the living room. "TV's over there." A noise from the kitchen startled him. "I'll leave you to it," he murmured when the man opened his case. He found Eran in the kitchen already dressed. He didn't meet his gaze and Paul leaned against the doorframe as his lover concentrated on making the coffee.
"I thought you were going to wait for me," he said after a moment, wondering at Eran's change of mood. The playfulness was gone, replaced by a troubled expression. Eran lifted a shoulder as he added grounds to the coffee maker and Paul noted his tousled hair and wrinkled shirt. He'd been in a hurry to dress.
He sighed inwardly when he thought of a possible reason, and crossed the room and pulled Eran back against his chest. Eran stiffened, then relaxed into his arms.
"I won't let anyone hurt you," he said against Eran's neck.
"I know. I just felt at a disadvantage, if something were to happen…"
They both looked up at a guffaw from the living room, and exchanged a smile when the tech called out, "Found the problem! Be done in a jiff."
Eran blushed slightly. "Okay, I may have overreacted here, but with Gary out…"
Paul tightened his hold. "Gary won't jeopardize his parole by coming near you," he said, hoping it was true. Eran's brother-in-law had gone to prison for battery of both Eran and his sister when they lived with him. As their father had done before Gary. Paul swallowed his anger. It wouldn't help Eran at all.
He glanced across the room at a polite cough from the doorway, but wouldn't let Eran go when he tried to step away.
The tech looked embarrassed. "Um…changed the cable box. Short in the wiring."
"Let me get you a check." Paul put his lips against Eran's ear. "Stay right here."
He went to the desk in the living room and wrote a check for the amount on the bill, then showed the technician out the door. He couldn't help chuckling as the man scurried down the drive as if glad to be going. Paul returned to the kitchen and looked at Eran where he leaned against the counter, arms crossed over his chest.
So beautiful. Eran's ink black hair brushed his chin, framing a delicate face and enormous blue eyes holding an unexpected sorrow. Paul walked up to him and tugged the slim, strong body of the man he loved into his arms. He planted little kisses along Eran's jawline. "Tell me what's wrong, baby."
Eran's chest rose and fell on a deep sigh. He nudged Paul back but wouldn't meet his eyes. Paul braced. Eran could be stubborn and he'd have to keep his head. Their few arguments had ended with him heartbroken and Eran in tears. The boy had grown up in fear and pain and it would take more than frilly words from him to make it all better.
Eran gave a short laugh. "So pathetic. You left the room and I heard him out here, and I felt five years old again with Father drunk in the kitchen." His voice shook and he bit his lip, eyes downcast. "Why can't I forget? God, you made a big fucking mistake with me."
Paul made his tone purposefully light, though his heart ached. "Yes, I did. I should have ignored the door and pinned you to the mattress and fucked you breathless." Encouraged by Eran's watery laugh he slid an arm around his waist. "What do you say we change and take a run around the park? Clear that fluffy head of yours."
"You saying I'm an airhead?"
"Only sometimes, lover. Come on."
Eran resisted when Paul tugged on his sleeve. Paul planted a hand on either side of his waist, trapping him against the counter. Pain knifed through his heart at the regret and sadness showing on his lover's face. "Tell me what you're thinking," he urged.

Thanks for stopping by Dianne! You're welcome back anytime :)

Weekly Recall! 7th July-13th Juy

Book image courtesy of http://sweetclipart.com/
Sun 7th July- Sat 13th July

Hi guys.

I haven't been around this week much at all as I have a raging chest and throat infectfion, and have lost my voice :( so I've pretty much been watching tv and doing sod all all week.

I read and posted my review of The Orgasm Project by Doris O'Connor, you can find the review here.

I'm still reading Serviced, but I'm halfway through the stories now and enjoying it. Dan Browns Inferno has been chosen as out book for July in my Babycentre book group so I hopefully will get to that soon.

As for TV/movies, I've watched wuite a bit this week with being poorly. I watched '21 Jump Street' (with Chinning Tatum looking as fit as ever),  I watched Disneys 'Up' for the first time (its so sad), I watched half of '#People Like Us', which was alright. Me and the other half have finished Sons of Anarchy season 1 and are now busy watching season 2, and I hav ebeen catching up on my (should I really admit this?)... Teen Mom 2 that I've had recorded on the Sky+ box since like forever!

+Aimee Duffy was in my hotseat answering 20 qs this week.

Hope you guys have had a better week than me!
