***REVIEW*** Dance to a Different Beat (Dance Studio 2) by Raven McAllan

Dance to a Different Beat (Dance Studio 2) by +Raven McAllan

Jane has a decision to make. Meet Sean and face her demons, or hide. Can she allow herself to let go enough to give this experienced Dom the submission he demands?

Jane has always made her own way in life, and the thought of giving up that control scared her away once. Sean is determined to show her that true submission is a joy, and not something to be feared. He is not prepared to lose her again.

As they face her fears, can they reach their full potential, or will those demons just prove too much to conquer?

I bought this yesterday as I won a copy of the third book in this series so thought I best catch up!
I really enjoyed it. I liked that this one gave a lot more back story and a really nice deep conversation between Jane and Sean. It was different, there was one sex scene and it was great as usual, but I liked that it focused more on the relationship between the 2 characters and how they got to where they are now. And the wax play sounds rather interesting!

The characters were fab, Sean a very strong but caring guy, Jane another strong person who knew where she wanted to be.

A lovely book from Raven, and I'm ready to move straight onto book 3 :)

Apologies

Friends.....

I wanted to apologise for not being around much lately.

Things have been hectic over the last 2 weeks with the kids going back to school, and me trying to get back in to a routine. It's worse now as my son is at playgroup in the morning from 19.15-10.45, so by the time I've dropped him off and get home, I've not got long before I have to leave to pick him up again (its a 10/15 minute walk). Then have to rush home, get him to quickly eat some lunch, before the school bus comes for him at 12pm!! It's a mad rush in here sometimes!

To make things worse, I've been feeling a bit under the weather lately and this morning have woken with a full blown cold!! I'm hoping it goes by the end of the week as me and the OH were supposed to be going out on Friday night to see a live band with some friends.

Anyway, I apologise for not being around much, and I haven't even been reading much either as I just can't seem to get my head in a book properly.

Hopefully things will be back on track soon!!!

Anything you'd like to add, or anything new you'd like to tell us about while you're here?

Short Blurb:

Cat was desperate, but pretending to be a ghost to stop the renovation on the neighbouring manor house was a new low even for her. All she needed to do, though, was slow down the renovation and figure out a way to make the owner pay for stealing her family home years before. Everything was perfect until a new guy arrived on site, turning her plans for revenge upside down, and her body to a puddle of lusty mush. But when she finds out the secret he's been keeping, will their attraction be strong enough to hold them together? Or will family ties tear them apart?

Thanks so much for stopping by Xandra!!!!

About me:   Multi-published author, Xandra James, has always wanted to write romance books. Even when she was sneaking peaks at the hot bits, too young to fully appreciate them, she dreamt of writing her own.
Now, older and wiser, she's got the opportunity to project her slightly dark and wacky, British sense of humour onto others, whilst still writing the hot bits - bonus!
When not writing, Xandra is thinking of excuses as to why she shouldn't be doing the housework, looking after a husband and cats that refuse to pick up after themselves and climbing the mountain in her house that's affectionately called her tbr pile.
She currently holds the crown for Queen Procrastinator – something she's very proud of – so you can usually find her online, somewhere, when she really should be writing.
