***REVIEW*** Impulse by Raven McAllan

Impulse by Raven McAllan
Dylan has arrived at Isola Dei Sogni to help out—with reluctance and just as a favour. Then he meets Mia. If she's the person he's supposed to assist, then maybe the visit won't be the waste of time he thought after all. His attitude has changed, and when he hears Mia wants to give him his fantasy? Dylan is never one to disappoint a lady…he hopes.
However, fantasies and dreams are all well and good, but even here, reality creeps in. Can Mia and Dylan overcome that to reach their happily ever after?
I received a copy of this book from the publisher (Just Ink Press, LLC), and was bloody glad I did, what a great story!
I remember reading Doris O'Connors 'Awakening' ages ago (actually that may have been the first of Ms O'Connors books I read), and falling in love with the idea of an island like that. So when I heard Raven had wrote a story about an island where dreams and fantasies come true, I was so excited to read it!
This is the story of Mia, who goes along on a holiday to Isola Dei Sogni with her sister and friends. She doesn't really want a fantasy, but reads the pamphlet and becomes a little intrigued. She meets Dylan, who has been sent to help out for the week at the Island, as a favour to someone.
No spoilers from me here, but boy does this story grab your attention! I loved it. Dylan sounds like a very sexy guy, and one thing that got me very excited is...well... there is some growling going on (I love this type of thing!).
Great story from Raven, and I can't wait to see if she writes another in the series! :)

  3. Ah, yes, our stories came from an original crit group idea. I have yet to read Raven's Impulse. One of the rare ones I didn't 'redit' for her, so am looking forward to the treat if reading it :-)
